Construction Jobs Implosion

Northwest Florida metro areas have lost thousands of construction jobs in the past 12 months, but on a smaller scale than the state overall. Florida in February recorded a 12-month loss of 73,600 construction jobs, a 17.1% decline. Construction statewide and in northwest metro areas sustained the highest job losses among all Florida industries.
